Touch Screen Chat

Following a short and sweet task presentation by The Chambermates to The Housmates, Big Brother directs both Houses to the touchscreens monitors to chat with each other for the first time via WeChat.

Both The Chambermates and The Housemates charge to the monitors, eager to engage each other and chat away, something which would probably come easy with this bunch. But perhaps the desire to chat came much too easy and in high volumes as The Housemates got stuck at what to say and what to ask The Chambermates on the other end of the screen.

Housemates could be heard getting witty with their banter notifying Paris that “we have extra t-shirts here for you” and telling Mbali that they kept an extra bed in the House just for him. Some teased some more much to the frustration of Vanessa and Lola’s warnings that they shouldn’t reveal too much, that the chat should be strategic and useful to the both Houses.

In usual fashion The Housemates argued over what the rules of the task were; were they meant to chat to The Chambermates as individuals or as a whole? Should The Housemate’s have revealed that they can see The Chambermates
